Seattle's incredible musical talent was recongized throughout the evening at the Grammy Awards, and although many of these big wins were unfortunately left off of the televised portion, we want to shine a light on the awards that are coming home to the PNW.
Chris Cornell was awarded Best Rock Performance posthumously for "When Bad Does Good", with his children Toni and Christopher accepting the award on their father's behalf.
Brandi Carlile added three Grammy awards to her collection, including Best American Album, Best American Roots Performance and Best American Roots Song.
The Seattle Symphony won Best Classical Instrumental Solo and Best Contemporary Classical Composition for their recording of Aaron Jay Kernis’ Violin Concerto, performed by violinist James Ehnes and conducted by Maestro Ludovic Morlot.

Congratulations to Seattle's big winners of the night! And let's continue to support our local artists of the past, present and future.
Happy Rocking,
Taryn Daly
