We are 11 days into 2019. . . how many of you have broken your resolutions already?
Alright, I'm not a big fan of making resolutions, I feel that people expect them to get broken so they rarely work. That being said, I came up with a list of things I would like to strive for and change to see how they benefit my life.
1. Organize and clear out clutter
She never makes anyone feel bad or guilty for accumulating so many things, she is a very positive force.Basically her method to tidy is to appreciate and be thankful for the things you keep but also for the things that you are getting rid of. It's like "thank you for keeping me warm, or for being of use to me." It's really sweet and motivating. As of now, I have cleared out my dresser and my closest and art supplies are next this weekend.
2. Eat Better Overall
Now notice I didn't say diet or meal plan, at least not yet. I am just being more conscious about what I am putting into my system. One of the ways I'm doing this is my best friend and I are using each other as "food journals", and yes I am being honest with what I eat. I'm avoiding soda, junk food, and excess in carbs (unless I'm working out). So far I dig it and it makes me really think about each meal.

3. Get in shape for my 30th birthday
The same friend above and I will both be turning 30 in August and we decided to do a cake smash photo shoot like this:
Well, one thing led to another and after introducing my friend to the band In This Moment, she suggested we do a goddess-y ethereal photo shoot....that being said, I need to get back to my fighting shape!
I'm hitting the gym, taking baby steps and not going full on yet, but hope to get back to where I used to be. (Also checking out tips from Matt Koch's blog HERE!)
Those are my main goals, along with play more board games, read my giant stack of comic books/ books, and go on more trips! Wish me luck!
What are your goals for 2019?
