Happy Friday the 13th! Today is a special Friday the 13th because we will also see a Harvest Moon! The next time this happens will be in 30 years!
So besides sitting outside, sipping on some hot cider and looking at the moon, what else should you do to celebrate this day?

Watch Friday the 13th (duh) and other Horror Films!
Get your friends over, have a movie marathon of your favorite horror movies...but for scaredy cats like me, they will be children's Halloween movies!
Make a Bakers Dozen of Cupcakes or Cookies
For those who don't know, a baker's dozen is 13 which keeps up with today's theme!
Get a Tattoo!
Many tattoo shops offer deals on Friday the 13th tattoos so take a peak at your local shops like Unknown Tattoo in Everett!
Adopt a black cat (or any color cat or dog!)
Some say that black cats are the cats that are least likely to get adopted. Whether that is true or not, how much fun would spend this holiday (and the many more that are coming in the next few months) with a new companion.
(*Note* Don't adopt any pets that you can't take care of, and will have to bring back to the shelter. Think of the little cuties!)
