Terrible Classic Rock Covers
Ultimate Classic Rock put out a list of, what they call, "When Good Songs Go Wrong".
They also call them "Terrible Classic Rock Covers".
There is no particular order to their list…but here are some of the songs that they listed…
Mick Jagger and David Bowie's 1985 cover of "Dancing in the Street".
Back in 2003, Limp Bizkit covered the Who's classic "Behind Blue Eyes".
The most recent terrible classic rock cover is from the early days of the pandemic…back in March of 2020. Actress Gal Gadot organized a video with Kristen Wiig. The idea was for several celebrities to sing John Lennon's "Imagine".
Back in 1993…the Cure covered Jimi Hendrix's "Purple Haze"…and this was picked as one of the worst covers of all time…
In 2003…Sugar Ray attempted to cover the Joe Jackson classic, "Is She Really Going Out With Him?"
