Tonight was honored to be invited to the pre-opening of Seattle's own Grunge photographer legend Charles Peterson's new photo exhibit. Charles Peterson's Nirvana opens October 5th and goes through May 25th of 2025 at the Tacoma Art Museum.

From 6-8pm tonight a great crowd came in support and curious to see what was included in the exhibit. No photography was allowed in the exhibit and even if it was I wouldn't wanna ruin it for any of you that are going to visit in person. There's some great Nirvana classics on display and well documented with info on each photo. In the Tacoma Art Museum you can buy Charles new Nirvana photo book as well as his Sub-Pop signature flannel shirt which I personally bought months ago at the Sub-Pop store at the airport.

It was really cool to see some Nirvana classics from back in the day. Who remembers Beehive Records in the U-District? Yes the store before Peaches Records took it over. Charles has some classics from that in-store appearance there! If you're a fan of Nirvana or the grunge world check it out! What was really cool too was ex-Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic showed up in support and to check out the exhibit. He mentioned there was photos in there he hasn't even seen so that's a great indicator you haven't either. Support the arts and a huge thanks to the Tacoma Art Museum for supporting music photography within their amazing building of works!

That flannel grunge looks good on me ha ha!!! Order yours here.
