Well after the shutdown of shows in 2020, the "Hotel California" play through tour finally hit Seattle for 2 shows on 11.5 and 11.5 2021. They performed their classic album and even had a symphony orchestra and choir onstage to expand the musical landscape experience. Then they had an intermission and came back with a second set featuring many of their all-time greatest hits.

Over all the Eagles played 28 songs including songs from Joe Walsh's solo adventures like "Life's Been Good" "Rocky Mountain Way" and "In The City". There was even the James Gang track "Funk #49" too.

Don Henley played his solo track "The Boys of Summer" during the encore too.

Ever wonder how popular the "Hotel California" album released in 1977 has been over the years? Imagine this, it's sold over 32 million copies worldwide and is the 3rd greatest selling album ever behind Michael Jackson's "Thriller" (33 million) at #2 and (oh surprise) The Eagles "Greatest Hits 1971-1975" album at #1.

Will there ever be a better selling album by any rock or other musical style in the future? Well we all know the answer to that question with the current state of illegal musical downloads, a big no! With the passing of Glen Frey in 2016, his spot was filled by his son Deacon Frey and he did great along side Joe Walsh and Don Henley. It's still weird to me to see Vince Gill (yes the famous Country artist) playing with the Eagles (since 2017) but he's a great addition vocally.
Overall an Eagles show is a song after song trip of hits you hear throughout popular culture with tracks from radio to movies etc. Rock at it's classic 70s best! The Eagles "Live at The Forum '76" album is now released - visit their website https://www.eagles.com for all the details!
