What a concert this was right in the middle of the natural beauty of the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Tacoma's Dune Peninsula water front stage with Mt. Rainier in the background smack dab in the summer is one of a kind. Showbox Presents along with Tacoma Parks hit it out of the ballpark with this location and setup. The photos will tell it all with the excitement and energy this show had with the thousands in a attendance.
Bringing the punk rock legends Dropkick Murphys and Bad Religion "Summer Of Discontent Tour" to this location was legendary. On this side of the mountains, the Gorge being on the other side, I've seen nothing better. High five to Showbox and Tacoma Parks. The energetic American Celtic punk of the Dropkick Murphys and one of the legendary OG's of punk Bad Religion gave shows that had the crowd going nuts. Singing, screaming, massive crowd pits all in a fun all-ages atmosphere ya wish wouldn't end! If you were there you know. One of the Top 10 concerts of the year for sure!
