I am proud to exclusively premiere the full new split album by two Northwest heavy hitters - Carnotaurus and Power Beast.
This split album is called "Turonian Terror" and it features 6 brand new songs in total. For those unfamiliar, Carnotaurus is a badass Seattle-based Mesozoic Death Metal band and Power Beast is a Portland-based monster-themed metal band. When these two titans collide, it is one helluva battle for the ages.
Here is Carnotarus guitarist/vocalist Travirus Hellton describing how the album came about...
"A couple years ago Power Beast started planning a dinosaur themed EP and thought, "you know, Carnotaurus are a dinosaur themed band, we should ask if they want to be involved and we can make it a split release." Carnotaurus loved the idea, but this all happened right before the covid pandemic of 2020 so the project got shelved while each camp dealt with the repercussions of lockdown. Fast forward to 2021 and both bands were finally able finish their tracks. Cover art was provided by Paleo Ink Journal (@paleoinkjournal on IG) and Leprotic Limb agreed to release the EP in Cassette form."
