OFFICIAL BAND BIO:
Embodying the melting pot of cultural heritage expected in our home of the Pacific Northwest, Creamsicle provides an eclectic blend of Rock, Pop, Punk, Ska, and Blues, bringing a unique style to the music scene unrestrained by any one genre.
Creamsicle began with Derek Stevens (vox, guitar) and Lacey Quincy (vox, guitar) in 2019. The two had been writing music in 2018 and formed the band just in time to play a local music festival in Stanwood, WA. Joining them were Tristan Beaman (vox, bass), Matthew Horsley (vox, guitar, trombone), and Drake Schroeder (drums). With this group they wrote their first set of songs that are featured on their debut EP 'Just A Taste' which was released December 2020.
Derek and Lacey have remained the songwriting powerhouse behind Creamsicle ever since, through multiple line-up changes and even recording their soon-to-be released second EP by themselves. The band is currently composed of Derek, Lacey, Jacob Fullerton (drums, vox), Jonathan Decker (bass), & Krysten Stevens (trumpet). They are currently gigging around the greater Seattle area while working on writing and recording new music, with a single titled 'Strangers' dropping on 10.15.21.
