Brazilian Metal Gods Sepultura played Seattle on their 40th Anniversary Farewell tour this past Monday 9.23.24 at the Showbox Sodo. With openers Obituary, Agnostic Front and fellow Brazilian metal thrashers Claustrofobia on the bill it was a total start to finish night of hardcore metal for all. The tour goes through 2026 so don't be surprised if they play Seattle one last time in the next year or two. Who remembers the first time they played Seattle at the OK Hotel in 1991?
