Temperatures are dropping across Washington again, which means it's time for kids to start bundling up before they leave the house. But for some of them, it's not as easy as throwing on a jacket. That's why we've partnered with the Washington State Council of Firefighters and Operation Warm for Coats for Kids, presented by Palace Law.
There are 300,000 children living in poverty here in Washington state, and this year they need your help finding an affordable, quality jacket to keep out the cold more than ever. Purchasing coats can be difficult for families of growing kids. That's why we're teaming up with your local firefighters to help put as many kids as possible in brand-new, American-made jackets this winter.
Every $20 donated puts a brand new coat on a child in need.
This year our goal is to help 2,500 kids get the winter coats they deserve, and we're inviting you Rockaholics to join us in our mission! Thanks to Taylor Driving School and UMass Global for matching up to $1,000 in donations each!
Thanks to our friends at Couch Riffs for putting together an AWESOME video for our cover of "Father Christmas" as part of this year's fundraising campaign. Check it out below!
You can also text KISWGIVE to 44321 to donate!
Every dollar counts toward giving a kid a jacket that will keep them happy, healthy, and warm this holiday season.
Thanks for the help, Rockaholics!
