Temperatures are starting to drop across Washington, and that means kids are bundling up before heading out the door. But for many families, grabbing a warm jacket isn’t that simple.
That’s why we’ve once again partnered with the Washington State Council of Firefighters and Operation Warm for Coats for Kids. With more than 300,000 children living in poverty in Washington, the need for warm, reliable winter coats is greater than ever.
For families with growing kids, purchasing quality coats can be a real challenge. So we’re joining forces with local firefighters to make sure as many children as possible receive brand-new winter coats this season.
Every $25 donation provides a new coat to a child in need. This year, our goal is to help 2,500 kids stay warm, and we’re inviting all you Rockaholics to be part of this mission.
