Model Snake is a genre-bending three piece from Seattle, WA, blending elements of metal, new wave, and post rock to shape their signature sound. Formed in 2014 out of the ashes of their former bands, Model Snake began when bassist Todd Schlosser called his co-conspirator from the long gone The Senate Arcade, guitarist Matt Terich, and drummer Shawn McClure from Shrouded in Veils to “come down and make some noise.” The band’s second release, Business Lights, having been delayed by the pandemic and the shut down of music venues, is finally available. Capturing their thundering and angular sound in its rawest forms, Business Lights was recorded and mixed by Mikel Perkins and mastered by Jack Endino at the storied Sound House studios.
