The Offspring. The band that changed what indie music could do with their 1994 album 'Smash'. How do you follow that up? In my humble opinion, they did it the best way possible. "Ixnay on the Hombre" the follow up album came out on this day 25 years ago.
Now, I love this album. And controversial opinion, it is actually my favorite Offspring album, yes, even over 'Smash'. I am not sure why, but this album has always hit so hard for me, but it did. Plus, February 4th is also another big day for the Offspring because it's guitar god Noodles' birthday! He turns 58! And still rocks the punk rock harder than most bands of the same age. So let's celebrate with some of my favorite tracks from Ixnay!
