While we eagerly await new music by Seattle rock band Ten Miles Wide, the members have something new-ish to wet our appetites.
Longtime fans of the band may recall members of Ten Miles Wide played together in a band called The Mothership. Their album, appropriately titled "Ten Miles Wide", is now ten years old (see what I did there?) and it's a favorite among many in the local Northwest scene.
To celebrate the momentous occasion, the album has been remastered and will be available on vinyl.
Drummer Will Andrews has more details here:
The digital version features two bonus mixes by Derek Moree (Chrome Lakes, Pelican, Minus The Bear) and Paul Fig (Alice In Chains, Slipknot, Jerry Cantrell). Vinyl features all 12 original Houdinis Tree 24-bit mixes. All tracks were very recently mastered by Streaky (Streaky Studios) and sound far superior to the original mastering job. More details on The Mothership's facebook page and on the bandcamp site.
You can pre-order the album here and check out a premiere of "Flower" below.
