It’s been a long time coming, but Chevelle has finally returned with the announcement of a brand new album.

The rockers will release their ninth full-length album NIRITIAS on March 5 and shared the first single “Self destructor” along with its music video. The sci-fi Men In Black-esque music video serves as the perfect accompaniment for the song and will take you out of this world, literally.
Although NIRITIAS marks the band’s first record since 2016, it’s been in the works for a while. Chevelle recorded the album throughout 2019 and 2020 and once again teamed up with their longtime producer Joe Barresi.
Chevelle tapped Boris Vallejo to create the album artwork. The artist has created posters used for films like Knightriders and National Lampoon’s Vacation as well as the acclaimed Heavy Metal magazine.
NIRITIAS will be released on March 5 and is available to preorder now on Chevelle’s website.
