The Green Day boys are absolutely determined to keep their beloved Dookie as fresh as possible, offering up yet another way -- err, ways -- to grab the album amid its 30th-anniversary celebrations.

Instead of another run-of-the-mill ol' box set, Green Day -- in collaboration with L.A. art studio BRAIN -- is offering up Dookie Demastered on 15 "obscure, obsolete, and otherwise inconvenient" limited-edition formats, now available for purchase. Each limited-edition track will be sold through its own drawing. Quantities vary by track. Fans can enter a track's drawing to win the opportunity to buy it, with a limit of one track per winner.
Don't expect anything other than collector's items here, as the audio quality needed to fit each track onto its respective piece of technological nostalgia will be low fidelity, to say the least. Formats include wax cylinder, answering machine, toothbrush. floppy disk, Big Mouth Billy Bass, doorbell, and more. "It’s Dookie the way it was never meant to be heard." Enjoy?!
