Visually stunning, hard rocking, otherworldly. Those are all apt descriptions of the new music video from Mastodon as it’ll be on repeat for the foreseeable future.
“Teardrinker” marks the first single from Mastodon’s upcoming ninth studio album Hushed and Grim, which is due out on October 29.

In the video, Mastodon exchanges tickets for access to a room that has a mysterious looking box in the middle of it. Each member reaches into the box and pulls out an item, which then transports them to other worlds and other dimensions.
It’s totally trippy, totally awesome, and you can check it out below.
In addition to the new music video, Mastodon have announced a co-headlining tour with Opeth that’ll take place later in 2021.
