What are your three greatest memories at KISW? The infamous Flies/Flyswatters pool party; hour-long interview with Brian May, with his guitar, mics left open during commercials; introducing Jane's Addiction at their Rising Star concert and appearing in their "Mountain Song" video. (I could go on...)

What’s a story you couldn’t tell people back in the day? Backstage at his live morning show broadcast, Joe Walsh slammed the door of his dressing room in my face in a coke-fueled rage.

What band were you most proud to bring to a bigger audience? Alice in Chains (honorable mention: Mother Love Bone)

How has Seattle changed the most? It's gone from being the place in Southern Alaska where jets get made to being a cultural and technological hub.

What’s something you never thought you’d see? That giant media companies would voice track thousands of radio stations, greatly diminishing the impact of live and local radio - now get off my lawn!

What’s your best memory of meeting a rock star? After I complained backstage about the quality of whiskey being served in the club, Keith Richards shared his bottle of Jack Daniel's with me, drinking straight from the bottle.

Who was your best friend at the station back in the day? Damon Stewart and Joe Bryant

Name a KISW band you still love! Soundgarden

Favorite concert from your time at KISW? Metallica "And Justice For All" tour in the snake pit
