Slipknot officially unveiled the identity of their new drummer just as the band dove headfirst into their 2024 touring season.

As anticipated, drummer Eloy Casagrande, formerly of the Christian metal band Iahweh, and heavy metal titans Sepultura, has been tapped to fill the spot behind the kit left by their most recent beat man, Jay Weinberg.
The Knot revealed the new lineup via Instagram tags in a post right after beginning their 2024 live assault, beginning with a small show on Thursday (April 25), and then hitting the Sick New World festival in Las Vegas over the weekend.
Casagrande is mentioned in the lineup post along with eight out of the nine-member team -- Corey Taylor, Shawn ‘Clown’ Crahan, Sid Wilson, Mick Thomson, Jim Root, Alessandro Venturella, and Michael Pfaff. Missing is keyboardist Craig Jones’ still unknown replacement.
Slipknot has also announced their 25th Anniversary Here Comes The Pain Tour in celebration of their seminal debut album, Slipknot, which catapulted the band back in 1999. They'll be taking along their friends Knocked Loose, Orbit Culture, and Vended as support on select dates. Tickets and VIP will be available starting Friday, May 3.
