Las Vegas, NV (KXST) - The Vegas Golden Knights head into St. Louis on a two-game slide and might be without their best player for the weekend

The NHL on Thursday placed goalie Marc-Andre Fleury on the league’s Covid protocols list. The move doesn’t mean that Fleury was diagnosed with Covid-19, but that he may have had close contact with someone who was.

Rookie Logan Thompson would be the likely starter should Fleury not be available. Thompson saw his first NHL action in relief of Fleury during a 4-3 loss to the Wild in Minneapolis on Wednesday.

Backup goaltender Robin Lehner continues to rehab an injury. He’s currently doing so with the Henderson Silver Knights
