The basic idea is that the average person's waist is twice the circumference of their neck.
Evidently this is no new trend, and was even discussed on TODAY a few years back, but this hack has gone viral again on the social media app.
This hack didn’t just appear out of thin air, either.
Apparently, there’s an old saying that, "twice around the neck" equals "once around the waist,” and that “twice around your WRIST” is supposed to equal “once around your neck.”
