St. Charles, MO - Police have issued a state and region-wide Amber Alert for the abduction of two children from their mother by the biological father.
The children are one- and three-years-old.
The vehicle police are searching for is a tan 4-door SUV with 'E15' on a Missouri or an Illinois license plate. THey says the vehicle was last seen heading west from St. Charles.
According to police, the father is Fernando Marez, 24, and say that he physically assaulted the mother of the children and threated to kill one of the children. He then left with the two children, accompanied by an hispanic male and female.
Marez is a hispanic man, 5'07" tall, 145 lbs, and was wearing a blue t-shirt, black vest, dark blue jeans, and champion-brand shoes. He has tattoos of the children's names on both arms.
The children are:
Alexia Marez, female, age 1 - is wearing white and pink onsie with blue pants.
Fernando Marez, male, age 3 - is wearing blue shirt and grey sweatpants.
