Grandview, MO - They didn't teach cadets in the police academy how to handle this situation - What to do when the schools and libraries are closed?

The Grandview Police Department has it figured out - have officers read their favorite children's books aloud on Facebook Live.

Dubbed "Cop Stories" officers tackle books like What the Dinosaurs Did Last Night; Chicka Chicka Boom Boom; and the ever favorite One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish.

Officer Greg Smith says they're doing it because it's fun, and is another way to help keep kids entertained during the stay at home emergency orders.

Catch "Cop Stories" live every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 11:00am on the Grandview Police Department Facebook page.
