KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The winter storm warning for the entire Kansas City area that started Sunday morning will continue until 6 p.m. Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

Meteorologists updated their projections to 5-7 inches of snow for the area before the winter storm passes through the area on Monday.
Travel is hardardous throughout the Kansas City area, with numerous accidents and vehicles disabled in ditches.
