KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A homeowner in Kansas City reports hearing a suspicious noise outside before shooting and killing someone.
It was not immediately obvious to the police whether the purported intruder was male or female. The shooting occurred before 6 a.m. Thursday outside a home near 83rd Street and The Paseo.
Police say the resident told them they felt threatened before firing a gun. The resident is reportedly cooperating in the investigation.
