KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A man was shot to death while interrupting someone who was breaking into his vehicle, Kansas City police said.
Officers were sent to a medical call near Linwood Boulevard and Charlotte Street around 7 a.m. Wednesday. They found the man dead in the street.
It was not clear whether someone was trying to steal something inside or the vehicle itself, police said.
Officers did not have a description of the shooter.
