Law enforcement officers broke a fight involving about 300 people at Worlds of Fun Saturday night.
The people involved in the disturbance were mostly teenagers. An off-duty Clay County sheriff's deputy called for assistance after several fights broke out around 9 p.m.
One of the witnesses, 25-year-old Madi-Lynn McDaniel, said a large number of officers showed up.
"They'd get them kind of settled, and then they'd take another kid, and it just kept escalating," McDaniel said. "It was just like a huge mob of kids fighting each other."Responding officers were from the Kansas City Police Department and other agencies.
When the dust settled, there were no reports of injuries and no arrests. Police issued at least one citation. Several officers remained at the park to direct traffic as parents showed up to pick up their children.
