A 36-year-old man is dead following a triple shooting Saturday afternoon near Independence Avenue and Monroe.
Police say the incident happened around 12:30. The man who died is identified as Leon Robinson Jr., 36. The two other shooting victims were found at a nearby Family Dollar store. They were taken to a hospital where their conditions were stabilized.
Kansas City, Kansas Police say juveniles were involved in another triple shooting.
The violence occurred around 12:40 a.m. Sunday near South 22nd Street and Birch. Officers found two victims at the scene. One died. A third young victim was dropped off at a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Raytown Police say a man who was found dead inside a crashed car had been shot to death.
The vehicle found around 6:15 a.m. Saturday. Investigators say a woman had been in the car when the shooting took place, and she jumped out before it wrecked. The woman was hot shot, but was taken to a hospital for treatement of non-life threatening injuries.
A 39-year-old man was shot to death around 3 a.m. Sunday near 17th and Cherry. Police did not release the victim's name. No suspect information was available.
