Kansas City police say they are investigating as a homicide the discovery of a body along the roadway at Red Bridge Road and 71 Highway.
The body of an adult male was found on the shoulder of the southbound exit ramp. Injuries to the body were not described in a police news release. Medics declared the person dead at the scene.
Evidence at the scene leads investigators to believe the circumstances are suspicious.
The exit ramp was closed for the gathering of evidence and processing of the crime scene.
