Kansas City, MO - For the second summer in a row, the Symphony in the Flint Hills is a no go.

Last June, storms tore through the site of the symphony performance, ripping tents and structures.  This year, it's the coronavirus.

The nonprofit organization behind the annual concert began in 2004 and held its first concert in 2006.

Roughly 7,000 people attend the main performance by the Kansas City Symphony each June.

The performances are held outdoors under a temporary pavilion on a private ranch amid the Flint Hills in Wabaunsee County southwest of Topeka.
