It’s time to come together as one.

That’s why KMBZ Radio is united with all Kansas City Metro broadcasters to say:  ONE MISSION. ONE VOICE. ONE KC.

WE all have united for a one-day 'digital day of giving' - Thursday, April 16th - to raise money for the Kansas City Regional COVID-19 Response and Recovery Fund.

Monies raised will support relief efforts in the Greater Kansas City area including Cass, Clay, Jackson, Platte and Ray counties in Missouri and Johnson, Wyandotte, Leavenworth and Miami counties in Kansas.  Grants will be made to 501(c)(3) public charities and public organizations (Read more about the Response and Recovery Fund).

The fund expect to deploy an initial round of grants to support operations and services with focus on critical needs, including but not limited to:

  • Housing support such as rent, mortgage and utilities. 
  • Food insecurity
  • Access to health care 
  • Other critical human services. 

 

The Halls Family Foundation and the Sunderland Foundation are matching dollar-for-dollar up to $1 million for donations exclusively made on Thursday.
