Kansas City, MO - Just a day after torrential rains and strong storms rolled through, it appears that the KC Metro will get a slight break from the weather.
According the the National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill, Kansas City is under a slight risk for severe weather Wednesday night.
A rain system is expected to move through between 6pm and 9pm, and will bring up to a quarter-inch of rain to the Metro. And the NWS says Kansas City is at a low risk for tornados.
The risk is stronger further south, with very large hail expected, flash flooding and possible tornados.
