Organizers of First Friday in Kansas City's West Bottoms neighborhood expect about 20,000 people to visit antique shops through Sunday.
Temperatures in the upper 60s and lower 70s have a lot to do with the rosy prediction. The theme for this weekend is "Bunnies in the Bottoms," with the Easter Bunny hopping around and handing out eggs with prizes inside.
Shoppers are invited to try a special adult beverage, said Amber Arnett-Bequeaith, spokeswoman.
"It's called the Cotton Tail, which is a little pink lemonade with cotton candy vodka."
People have been hibernating through the long winter, so they are ready to get out of house for the nice weather, Arnett-Bequeaith said.
