Kansas City Police are dealing with separate triple shootings that happened late Saturday and early Sunday.
In the first incident, a teenager was killed and two others were injured arround 11 p.m. Saturday in the 2200 block of Elmwood. The injured victims drove to the fire station at 22nd and Van Brunt to seek help.
The injured victims were listed in serious, but stable, condition.
The second shooting also left one person dead and two others injured.
It happened around Linwood and Olive around 2:30 a.m. Sunday. Police officers talked to witnesses who told them the three victims had already been driven to a hospital. The two survivors had serious injuries but were expected to pull through.
No suspect information was released in either case.
