Now the film's director, Jeff Tremaine, has reportedly been granted a restraining order against Margera in the wake of alleged threats made by the pro skater and stuntman against him and his family, according to a new report by TMZ.

Tremaine has claimed that Margera has been targeting him in social media, with comparisons to disgraced Hollywood mogul, Harvey Weinstein and threats of violence. Margera allegedly told Tremaine that he and Johnny Knoxville can "pencil in their death certificates" and reportedly made a threat directed at his children, according to TMZ.

In an interview with GQ last week Knoxville spoke on the ongoing situation saying, “we want Bam to be happy and healthy and get the help he needs. We tried to push that along. I think that’s all I really want to say about it.” He added that he doesn't want to get into a public back and forth with Bam.

Margera must remain at least 100 yards away from Tremaine, his wife and his children, according to the order.

Jackass 4 is due out October 22, 2021.
