Wizards superstar Bradley Beal and his wife vented their dissatisfaction after The Real Deal's latest 40-point effort was wasted in yet another Washington defeat.

Asked after the game if he was frustrated, Beal replied with a deadpan response.

"Is the sky blue?" he asked. "Amen."

The two-time All-Star's wife, Kamiah Adams-Beal, fired off a cryptic tweet suggesting she too was fed up with the Wizards' struggles.

"Sick of it," she said.

Incredibly, the 40-point scoring outburst was the 10th such game in Beal's career that came in a losing effort, and the third this season.

The two-time All-Star has been the topic of intermittent trade speculation for at least a couple years running now.

There was some thought that the unloading of John Wall last offseason might also hasten Beal's departure as part of a larger teardown, but so far that has yet to come to pass.

The University of Florida product collected his 47 points on 17-for-37 shooting from the field, including 6-of-14 from deep. He was a perfect 7-for-7 from the free-throw line, and also registered four rebounds, six assists, four steals and three turnovers.

Beal, long a heavy-usage player, has been asked to shoulder an even heavier offensive burden with the team struggling, including star point guard Russell Westbrook, who was brought back in exchange for Wall.

The Wizards were 3-11 through their first 14 games, good for last place in the Eastern Conference.
