The Chiefs don't the most extensive Super Bowl history... yet.

With Patrick Mahomes at the helm for a long, long time, as well as key offensive and defensive supporting cast members locked up for years to come, it seems as though the Kansas City Chiefs are a dynasty in the making. So, next time we create a quiz surrounding the history of Chiefs Super Bowl runs, it will likely be longer than 10 questions and will have a lot more to do with current names like Travis Kelce, Tyrann Mathieu and others as opposed to names of generations past.

Prior to their victory over the 49ers in Super Bowl LIV, the Chiefs had only played in two Super Bowls — Super Bowl I against the Green Bay Packers, which they lost, and Super Bowl IV against the Vikings, which they won.

The first contest wasn't particularly close, as Vince Lombardi and Bart Starr bested Hank Stram and Len Dawson to the tune of a 35-10 rout. Green Bay wide receiver Max McGee exploded for 138 yards and two touchdowns, while Curtis McClinton scored the only Kansas City touchdown in the second quarter.

But we also realize that not everyone reading this article and taking this quiz was even alive for that game, and so we didn't include it in the quiz. Below, you'll find a chronological quiz, starting with the Super Bowl IV victory, and proceeding to the present day. Best of luck, and let your love for the Chiefs show!
