Alongside a series of photos posted on both Instagram and Twitter, Britney shouted out a few of the women she says have inspired her over the past year of quarantine hardships and isolating times. In addition to Miley and SJP, the list of "cool ladies" included her sister Jamie Lynn SpearsSharon StoneNatalie PortmanNoah Cyrus, and fitness influencer Tawny Janae

"These are the women that have truly inspired my life 🌹⭐️👑 !!!!" she captioned the carousel of photos. "Being away from family and my boyfriend while quarantining was really hard for me but the good thing about social media is we can connect in a different way that helps us feel not alone in this crazy world 📱👩🏼‍💻🤓 !!!  These cool ladies always add a spark to my day ✨✨✨ !!!!”

Sarah Jessica, who previously tweeted out in support of the #FreeBritney movement back in February, responded to her praise on Twitter writing, "Thank you dear @britneyspears. I think you know how I feel about you. For a long time. Sending all my best and touched that you included me to be companion. X, SJ."

While the post suggests behind-the-scenes support she’s receiving from of the entertainment industry's most powerful women, or even that she might have possibly gained control or direct access to her own social media accounts, it also raised a few questions among fans. One questioning the whereabouts of Madonna and Janet Jackson on the list, While another said, "YES MAAM but what do you mean you've been apart from your boyfriend and family????"

Which in truth seems odd since just last week, Britney was spotted with her buff boyfriend, Sam Asghari, and her 14-year-old son, Jayden Federline, out and about in LA for some Starbucks.

Not to mention, that earlier this month Brit Brit shared a pic of her and her boys all masked up, hanging in a grassy field. Or that she and Sam spent some time in November 2020 together on a romantic Hawaiian getaway.

Also slightly strange, some fans also noticed that while Britney follows 116 people on Instagram, Miley and Jamie Lynn are the only ones she does out of seven women she shouted out.

In other Britney news, whether it’s actually her doing the posting or not, her account took us on a trip down memory lane, with some throwback pics and performance vids.

Spears’ caption reflected on her past performing days and assured her loyal legion of fans that she has recently been "enjoying the basics" of life while she is away from the stage. "I'll always love being on stage.... but I am taking the time to learn and be a normal person," the mom of two wrote at the time. "I love simply enjoying the basics of every day [sic] life !!!! Each person has their story and their take on other people's stories !!!!”

"We all have so many different bright beautiful lives 🌹🌸🌷🌼!!!" she added. "Remember, no matter what we think we know about a person's life it is nothing compared to the actual person living behind the lens 📷✨ !!!!"
