Whoever plays quarterback for the Jets in 2021 — be it Sam Darnold, a rookie from the draft or a signal-caller acquired via trade or free agency — now has a fun new weapon at his disposal.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, former Tennessee Titans wide receiver Corey Davis has agreed to a three-year, $37.5 million deal with the Jets.

Davis recorded a career high in receiving yards (984) and receiving touchdowns (5) on 65 catches for the 2020 Titans, working to shed the label of a draft bust after the Titans selected him fifth overall in the 2017 NFL Draft. Still only 26 years old, Davis is a versatile receiving weapon with legitimate WR1 upside.

Davis was the No. 10 receiver in terms of his Pro Football Focus grade in 2020, earning an 85.3 on the season.

The Jets will return wide receivers Jamison Crowder, Denzel Mims and Braxton Berrios is 2021, while Breshad Perriman is an impending free agent. Davis will aim to become the Jets' first 1,000-yard receiver since Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker were last to accomplish the feat in the 2015 season.
