Almost immediately, he was called out for his lack of paying artists in the past and not long after, a concerning video surfaced of former Bad Boy artist, Black Rob, best known for his 2000 single, "Whoa," in the hospital.
A GoFundMe organized by fellow former Bad Boy signee, Mark Curry and Mike Zombie went viral and the goal of the campaign is to help Black Rob "find a home, pay for medical help & [gain] stability during these trying times." Many felt Diddy should be the one to provide the help Black Rob is seeking. It currently has surpassed the halfway mark at $25K.
Black Rob confirmed that he is back home, and Curry expressed that his medical issue isn't an isolated incident. In years past, he struggled with his blood pressure and even had a stroke. However, it has been confirmed that Diddy has reached out and is doing his best to help. Curry took to Instagram with the update, stating, "Puffy, we need your help and you are reaching out. You’re trying to help. We’re gonna say he’s not. He’s really trying to help."
Diddy has not directly spoken out about Black Rob or how he's helping him.
