Francisco Lindor tries his hand behind the camera during Tuesday’s Mets broadcast

As his four All-Star appearances and two Gold Glove Awards would attest—not to mention his 138 career homers—Francisco Lindor’s talent on the baseball diamond knows no bounds. But how about behind the camera? You be the judge.

With Lindor off the clock—manager Luis Rojas gave his star shortstop a breather against the Cardinals Tuesday—the Mets newcomer got some valuable production experience working the dugout camera for SNY, panning around Clover Park in St. Lucie. Not even pretending to care about the game (which the Mets won by a final count of 5-3), Lindor instead filmed a credentialed employee of the team, who seemed suspicious of being followed around the concourse.

He’s no Scorsese, but at least Lindor held the camera relatively steady and kept the lens in focus. Lindor, who arrived in a blockbuster trade with Cleveland earlier this offseason, registered his first hit of the spring in Monday’s loss to Washington, singling off former Mets lefty Luis Avilan.
