The Houston Police have received a complaint concerning Deshaun Watson and will be conducting an investigation on the star quarterback, the department said in a statement on Friday.

Watson has been accused of sexual misconduct by multiple women in recent months, with Texas lawyer Tony Buzbee saying he had filed 21 lawsuits accusing Watson of misconduct as of earlier this week.

Buzbee said earlier this month that he had been in touch with Houston PD about the allegations, but later said he had no plans to work with the department because Watson’s laywer Rusty Hardin has a son in the department.

But now, the department has made it clear that it will investigate the Texans quarterback after receiving a report on Friday.

Watson has denied any wrongdoing as accusations continue to pile up, the latest coming earlier this week accusing Watson of inappropriate behaviour during massage sessions from July to September of last year.

Watson’s attorney recently said that the quarterback would meet with any law enforcement if any sexual misconduct civil suits were investigated, and that he would cooperate with authorities.
