Back in 2019, the 29-year-old dropped a freestyle entitled “Leave Me Alone” over a Flipp Dinero beat. The track opens with him stating, “my feature price went up / I charge 5K for a song now…” Shortly after the freestyle, he released his debut album, Baby on Baby, and revealed in an interview that his price upped to “six figures, at least.”
However, he never revealed the exact dollar amount. Quite frankly, he didn’t have to because many had no problem dropping stacks for him. He partnered with Saweetie on the “Tap In (Remix)” and Megan Thee Stallion on both her debut EP and debut album for “Cash S***” and “Cry Baby,” respectively.
His hits like “Rockstar” feat. Roddy Ricch and Pop Smoke’s “For The Night” have topped the charts and he garnered six GRAMMY nominations, so it’s no surprise his rate for features has now soared sky-high.
Over the weekend, the North Carolina native took to Instagram to announce that he’s now charging collaborators upwards of $300K for a featured verse. With him now expanding into Pop through Jack Harlow, Dua Lipa, and Camila Cabello, this increase only makes sense. Fortunately for DaBaby, that’s just how supply and demand works.

While some fans feel this price tag is incomprehensible, consider how much a hit song is actually worth. It’s rumored that Drake won’t work for anything less than $1 million/verse. Regardless of how you feel, it’s a business, man.
