People cannot get enough of Jameis Winston’s footwork routine.
The New Orleans Saints backup quarterback was warming up prior to Sunday’s game against the 49ers when he was captured working on his footwork in the endzone.
The 26-year-old was backpedaling on his heels while rotating his hips before transitioning into another funky-looking warmup where he started gyrating his back hip reminiscent of a move Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott was seen doing prior to a game last year.
Naturally, everyone on social media was in awe of the video with it being reshared by many.
It is not the first time fans have been perplexed by Winston’s workout routines.
Earlier this year, he was seen crouching in the under center position with a baseball bat and dropping back into the pocket and taking a swing.
There was also another one in which he is in the gym and evading a punching bag being thrown at him while he pretends he is in the pocket. He is constantly tapping his feet in this drill as well.
As unusual as they may seem, there is reason why Winston and other quarterbacks engage in these kinds of drills as they are tasked with incredible physical and mental challenges that come with playing the sport.
