Aldean will perform his first concerts in over a year as he is set to play a pair of socially distanced shows on May 14 and May 15 as part of the Concerts on the Farm series on the Bonnaroo festival site in Manchester, Tennessee.
“FINALLY!!! They are turnin the boys loose in May. LETS FKIN GET IT! #2nighter,” he wrote in an Instagram post.
“You could’ve asked me to play a gas station at this point and I would say yes,” Aldean said in a statement on his website.
“So being able to setup the full show with all the band guys plugged in is going to make for a really good time. We’re going to turn it up – there’s nobody out there to bother – and make up for some lost time for sure.”
Tickets for each show will go on sale this Friday, April 9 at 11 AM ET/8 AM PT. $1 from each ticket sold will benefit the Bonnaroo Works Fund. Purchase tickets for the May 14 concert here and purchase tickets for the May 15 concert here.
The news comes just days after Bonnaroo announced their 2021 lineup.
The festival is set to take place from September 2-5 and will feature performances from Foo Fighters, Megan Thee Stallion, Lizzo, Tame Impala, Tyler, The Creator, Lana Del Rey, and many more.
