The superstar and mother to six children got tatted for the first time at age 62. Her fresh ink is dedicated to all of her children and includes the first initial from each of their names. The tattoo reads “LRDMSE,” which stands for Lourdes, Rocco, David, Mercy, and 8-year-old twins, Estere and Stella.
The “Like a Virgin” singer took to Instagram to show off her new tattoo and cheekily captioned the photo, “Inked for The Very First Time.”
While masked-up, Madonna took her followers through every step of her tattooing process, even showing off the atmosphere at the Hollywood-based, Shamrock Social Club. Madonna’s new ink was designed by Los Angeleno tattoo artist East Iz.

Madonna’s new tattoo post comes shortly after the singer took to social media to share a rare Thanksgiving video that featured all six of her children as a Nina Simone song played throughout the short snippet. She captioned the video, “A Beautiful Souvenir………Giving Thanks. #everyday #ninasimone”
