Yup, he said so himself. When asked what other industries he plans to explore outside of Hip Hop during a zoom interview with XXL, the Atlanta rapper revealed his plans to delve into the food industry. And shared his plans of opening up a restaurant, with a lounge-esque vibe in the center of his hometown.
"Actually, I have a new restaurant and I'ma open it in Atlanta.” Further revealing, “It was supposed to be open by January, but we had to finish the stages, so maybe, February, March”
Joining the ranks of rappers who own restaurants, including like Rick Ross, Nas, JAY-Z and 2 Chainz, who actually has an Atlanta hot spot of his own, Escobar Restaurant & Tappas.
While he never actually disclosed the restaurant's name, Lil Baby broke down exactly what to expect when it comes to the menu and atmosphere of his soon to be open fine establishment.
"You know, lamb chops, lobster tails, rice, stuff like that.”. Continuing, “a little music, alcohol, stuff like that.”
Sounds like a good time to us, “Yes Indeed” it does. Congrats Lil Baby, save us a table for next time we're in the ATL.
