26 year old St. Charles woman dies in pedestrian accident

KANSAS CITY - Saint Charles County Police are investigating a Saturday evening fatal pedestrian accident at Dingledine Road and Stonecroft Drive.

26-year old Stacy Youngers died at the scene. The vehicle involved in the accident was a Cottleville Fire Protection District staff vehicle. The driver of that car remained on the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.

The St. Charles County Police Department is investigating a fatal pedestrian traffic crash that occurred on June 14, 2025, shortly after 6:00 pm, near the intersection of Dingledine Road and Stonecroft Drive.

Through an initial investigation, officers discovered a pedestrian was stuck in the roadway and was pronounced deceased at the scene by personnel of the St. Charles County Ambulance District.

The pedestrian involved in the traffic crash was identified as Stacy M. Youngers (F), 26, of St. Charles, MO.

The vehicle involved in the traffic crash was a Cottleville Fire Protection District staff vehicle (not a fire apparatus truck). The driver and vehicle both remained on scene. Both the driver and the Cottleville Fire Protection District have remained completely cooperative with this investigation.

This investigation remains active as the St. Charles County Police Department Vehicle Crash Investigations Unit works to ensure a complete and thorough investigation of the incident.
