KANSAS CITY - A Wichita tradition reached a major milestone this year as the 50th Annual Blarney Breakfast brought the community together on Monday, March 17, 2025, for a morning of Irish cheer—all for a great cause. The event, held at Old Chicago East, raised over $85,000 to support Rainbows United's Family Support Services, including Camp Woodchuck, a summer program for children and young adults with special needs.
Packed with lively entertainment, the golden anniversary celebration featured bagpipers, Irish dancers, and even leprechauns spreading St. Patrick's Day magic. This year's festivities expanded with the SCHEELS Parking Lot Party, offering games, giveaways, and music from Audacy Wichita. Pancakes were plentiful thanks to Wichita Wagonmasters keeping the tradition alive, plus a special visit from Admiral Windwagon Smith Alan Howarter.

A record-breaking 1,300+ tickets were sold in advance of the event. To commemorate the occasion, the first 500 dine-in guests received a limited-edition 50th Anniversary mug. Younger attendees got a festive keepsake too—a Lil-Leprechaun Cup.
Celebrity coffee pourers included: Jay Prater, Abby Wray, Jeff Jamison, Chuck Passannante, Sean Tarbell and Stephanie McCurdy. Sean Tarbell and Big Al with Davis Moore Auto Group continue as the reigning Celebrity Coffee Tipping Competition Champions raising $2,056.
Tickets are available until midnight 3/17 for the Pot of Gold 50/50 Raffle. Winner will be announced on the KAKE and Audacy morning shows Tuesday, March 18.
